Dales Ride Out 4th April
8 bikes joined the run through the Dales to Masham, 131 miles covered in the day.
Branch Member of the Year Award 2014
Peter Holland was voted to be the 2014 Member of the Year by the other Yorkshire Branch members, well done Peter.
Branch Secretary is awarded the Chairmans trophy
The ‘Numpty’ trophy was awarded for putting diesel into a 961 Commando, whoops! Luckily no damage was done.
Scarborough ride out – 20th Sept
9 bikes attended the run on a cloudy day that had some light showers at times, 180 miles were covered on the eventful day.
A Bridge Too Far? – Not For This Lightweight – Peter Holland’s 2,400 miles adventure on his Electra

Peak District Ride Out – 17th August
4 bikes attended the run (low turn out due to members being at rallies etc). 100 miles were covered in mainly dry weather with the occassional shower. Picture taken in the Ladybower area.
Norton Festival – Devon 2014
15 branch members attended the Norton Festival in Devon over the weekend of the 1st to 3rd August, the beer tent proved popular! Two awards were made to branch members, Russ Ward received the best ridden Commando award, Peter Holland won the best ridden lightweight award (Peter rode his Electra to the event – approx. 350 miles each way).
Norton Club Nederland 40th anniversary rally – 20th to 22nd June
4 branch members made the trip to the rally in Holland, a couple of breakdowns were dealt with along the way!
Ride out – 14th June 2014
A good ride out in dry weather again, 7 bikes attended the 146 mile run, Pen-y-ghent forms a nice backdrop in the photo.
